Have you thought about what kind of vibe you want for your senior photos?
Maybe you’re picturing the vintage feel of an old downtown, wide-open fields, waterfalls, a historic train station, or maybe you have absolutely no idea yet. 😂 That’s what this guide is for!
I put together some of my favorite senior photo locations around Reedsburg to help you figure out what feels the most you and how you want this part of your senior year to be remembered.
Everything in this guide is within about 15 minutes of downtown Reedsburg, which makes it super easy to mix things up during your session. If your package includes multiple locations and outfits, we can get totally different looks without spending half of your session driving around.
And some of these spots are basically locations within locations—so I’ll break down each one and show you examples of the different looks we can create in the same area.
Let’s find your spot. ✨

Downtown Reedsburg gives us SO many options for senior photos! If you love that cute, old-school downtown vibe, this is such a fun place to start.
We have gorgeous storefronts, brick buildings, little alleyways, and plenty of spots that give us that vintage downtown feel. But one of my favorite things about this area is that we can completely switch up the vibe without going far. There’s even an old wooden bridge surrounded by greenery that makes it feel like we left downtown and wandered straight into the Wisconsin countryside.
It’s basically multiple locations in one, which means more variety without spending your session driving all over the place!

The historic Reedsburg train station was built in 1906 and has such a cool, old-school vibe for senior photos! It’s only a couple of blocks from downtown, making it super easy to add to your session if you want a little more variety.
And we’re not limited to just the train station! It’s also the trailhead for the 400 State Trail, giving us even more options for photos; from the historic architecture of the station to greenery, trails, and a completely different feel just a few steps away.
Another one of those perfect “multiple locations in one” spots!

Webb Park has been a favorite photo spot for Reedsburg locals for decades, and honestly, this park could have its own location guide because there are SO many different spots to use!
We have old-growth woods, a gorgeous pond, wide-open grassy areas, the Baraboo River, playgrounds, a gazebo, and plenty of little hidden spots in between.
This is an especially great option if you’re choosing a shorter senior session but still want a ton of variety. We can get several completely different looks without ever having to get back in the car, which means we can spend more of your session actually taking photos!

One of the most iconic spots near Reedsburg, Lake Redstone is easily one of my top three favorite locations for senior photos!
There is SO much to work with here; beautiful woods, a little babbling stream, a breathtaking waterfall, rocky areas, and of course, the lake itself. We can go from woodsy and adventurous to toes-in-the-water at sunset all in the same session.
If you want a senior session with lots of nature, variety, and a little bit of adventure, Lake Redstone is hard to beat! And only a ten minute drive from Reedsburg.

Want to incorporate a sport that has been a huge part of your high school years? Let’s do it. Between Reedsburg Area High School and other places around our community, we have tennis courts, fields, tracks, gyms, and plenty of other options to make your senior photos actually feel like you.
One of my favorites is the gym at South School. Which is extra nostalgic for me because I played volleyball there and watched Mike play basketball there when we were kids. 🥹
Your senior photos don’t have to be just pretty locations and cute outfits. Bring your uniform, your gear, or whatever represents the things you’ve spent the last four years doing. This is your senior year, let’s document it!
