Meet Emily
Hello!! I'm so glad you're here! I'm Emily, the daydreamer and romance obsessed half of the Husker creative team. I started my love story with photography when I was a young teenager carrying around disposable cameras. Thirteen years later I took my sister's senior photos on the gorgeous Oregon Coast with my first DSLR camera and I realized I wanted to make a career out of my passion. I shot my first backyard wedding shortly after that, and the rest is history!!
Presently, I love working with clients and couples to capture photos that feel authentically THEM! ✨

got engaged on a cold december night
going to the chapel
started officially dating
Emily had a big crush. Mike wasn't convinced... yet.
Mike was so nervous, but it was an obvious yes, tears and all!
We were married by our middle school teacher outside the school that we met.
Lots of late night long distance chats and weekend visits
2013 - present
Moved to Fairbanks, Alaska
Highlights include hockey games, gorgeous mountain views, and the best Chinese food we've ever had

Meet Mike
Hello, Everyone! I'm Mike and I fell in love with photography while taking photos on hunting trips. I recently left my day job in retail management to join Emily in the photography business full time.
