Just as they were about to exchange rings & vows, the skies opened up. A few guests ran for cover, but Heather and Liam refused to go anywhere. After all, rain on your wedding day is a sign of good luck. And these two weren’t about to let a little rain stop the happiest moment of their lives. The pure joy & laughter during this ceremony is something I will never forget. And I know I’m not the only one. All of the guests were laughing and congratulating them when they finally made it out of the rain. I heard so many say “this is a wedding we’ll never forget!” But I know everyone was in awe of the way these two took it in stride and didn’t let it affect their day. All I see looking at these photos is pure joy and happiness, but most of all, a love that couldn’t be stopped. The rain only lasted for a short time, and even the sun decided to make an appearance afterwards! A perfect ending to a perfect day.
The love surrounding these two is truly inspiring to see. The Best Man made a speech that didn’t leave a dry eye in the room as he spoke about how wonderful a friend Liam is and how much love his best friend has for his new wife. Even I was tearing up a bit. Which is nothing new, I almost always cry a little at weddings. Even knowing these two for a short amount of time as I have, I can tell that they’re made to last. Thank you so much, Heather and Liam, for trusting me to capture the best day of your lives so far. I loved every minute of it, even though we were all a bit damp the rest of the day!
