The golden overhead lights are turned way down low. There’s a low drone of guests laughing and glass tinkling in the air. Candles and fairy lights glimmer from all directions, while the music begins to play. He spins her around and whispers in her ear as they glide across the empty dance floor. His hands around her waist, she flings her head back and laughs at her new husband’s words. The dance floor is surrounded by loved ones from near and far. But the newlyweds seem to be lost in their own little world. It is the beginning of the end to a perfect summer night. Everyone present is ready to celebrate, because Ashley and Justin are married at last!!

Laughter was definitely the main theme of this beautiful summertime wedding. Ashley and Justin started the day by exchanging letters & gifts. It might seem silly, but this part of a wedding day is always so much fun for me! Seeing brides tear up at their letters, or grooms laughing at theirs (or vice versa) is always a highlight of the day for me. (And it can make for the sweetest photos!) But when Ashley told me she had a surprise in mind for Justin, I was absolutely down to make it happen. She explained that when asked about wedding gifts previously, Justin had joked that he probably wouldn’t want a watch or anything boring like that. But because he’s such a jokester himself, that’s exactly what he got! While he did seem to actually like the watch, his face when he saw his real present was absolutely priceless! Ashley & Justin, thank you both so much for such an amazing day! I had the BEST time tagging along!! There were so many moments throughout the day that I was shooting through tears of laughter! I hope you guys will always remember to have fun together like you did on this beautiful day!
